Winter around the corner

The temperature is slowly dropping...  perfect time to knit up a scarf from one of my very favorite knitting books Scarf Style.  I've been eying 'Falling Leaves' for some time now a perfect project for this time of year as tress are for the most part bare.

I dread knowing that -30 degree wind-chills, and cold wet snow are just around the corner.  :(   But with this scarf knitted up in Berroco Alpaca I'll be able to do some fierce combat.
